A friend of mine (on the left) buying felt at the 'black market' in 1997. He was buying the felt to insulate the door of his family's apartment before it got much colder. The 'black market', which moved since this photo was taken, is always interesting to visit. You can find just about anything there, most of it legal. These days it is really more like a flea market or craft fair in some sense. There are traders bringing stuff up from China (or elsewhere), craftsmen, and people selling motorcycle parts, socialist-era medals, and just about anything else.
