While anthropologists study culture and society, one of the main things we do is talk to people. (Many people who know me thus find it amusing that I'm an anthropologist, since I tend to be quiet. I've frustrated more than one person by my ability to be quiet during long car and train rides. It's not intentional, it just comes naturally to me.)
Anyway, here are some of the people I've known and worked with over the years. Some I still keep in touch with, others I've lost contact with. Some I've met once or twice, and some are good friends. As always, there's a short explanation or story to go with the larger version of the photos, giving information on the setting they are in, or other (perhaps) interesting and useful tidbits.
