Ger wall detail.

A close up of the wall of a ger from the interior. This gives a good idea of how the wall section is constructed. You can also see the felt quite clearly. Normally, this is covered with other cloth on the inside, and then there are often wall hangings or other decorations, so most people don't see this detail.

(If you are wondering: When traveling with the Smithsonian tour group, at one camp I ended up in a ger that had obviously been being used for storage. So they hadn't bothered with all the niceties you'd normally find in one. This shot was taken lying on the bed, just staring at the walls. Literally.)
