A sheep and its backside. It's not a particularly good looking sheep, having lost some of its wool. But this actually helps to illustrate a point. Mongolian sheep have large, fatty tails, and without all the wool, they are easier to see. The tail is several pounds of pure fat, and this is the part that is served to honored guests at Tsagaan Sar and other important occasions.
