The steppe is teeming with various sorts of rodents - various types of mice and voles and other sorts of things. This is one of them. (Can you tell I'm not really much of a rodent expert? I'll try to dig up what it actually is.) This one was in a ger camp we stayed in during the summer of 2004, near Harhorin. But it's very common to see them out in the countryside as you drive along, so I felt I should include at least one here.
