The first part of this picture is rather self-explanatory. It's a yak, which are not uncommon in Mongolia. This one was on the road to Terelj, and since I didn't have a good picture of a yak, I joined my tourists in the photo opportunity. The animal to the right, without all the hair, that looks a bit like a cow is actually a hainag, a yak-cow hybrid.
